Training
FASTR
(3-5 DAYS)
This hands-on course will provide the student working in J.D. Edwards
WorldSoftwareR with the skills necessary to design and modify financial
reports for the enterprise using the FASTR reporting tool. The course
can be customized to provide students with the skills necessary
to create simple to moderately complex reports from basic training
to complex reports and other FASTR features covered in advanced
training. Basic training also covers how to manage FASTR version
lists and control centralized reporting

COMMON
FOUNDATION/ADDRESS BOOK (1-1/2 DAYS)
This course will provide students with the fundamentals to maximize
one's ability to navigate in J.D. Edwards OneWorld software. It
will also provide an overall working knowledge of implementing and
maintaining Address Book. Upon completion of this course, students
will be able to effectively navigate within OneWorld Explorer, customize
their user interface, and plan the internal Address Book controls,
daily procedures and system maintenance requirements.
FINANCIAL APPLICATIONS (5 DAYS)
This hands-on course will provide you with skills to design an integrated
financial system. Upon completion of this course, students will
be able to confidently design and set up their financial organization
and understand related processes for companies and business units,
charts of accounts, automatic accounting instructions, inter-company
settlements, and multi-currency. Students will also understand integration
between financial, manufacturing, distribution and payroll applications.
ENTERPRISE MANUFACTURING (5 DAYS)
This hands-on course will provide the student with skills to develop
an integrated manufacturing enterprise. Upon completion of this
course, students will be able to confidently set up manufacturing
processes including bills of material, work center and routing creation,
product costing, master planning, shop floor execution, flow procedures,
material replenishment methods and manufacturing accounting.
SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT (5 DAYS)
This hands-on course will provide the student with the skills to
develop an integrated distribution enterprise. Upon completion of
this course, students will be able to confidently set up distribution
processes including creating a warehouse, establishing item numbers,
processing inventory transactions, creating purchase orders, receiving
and vouchering. In addition, they will have the ability to create
sales orders, generate printed pick slips and invoices, confirm
shipments and perform end-of-day processes.
A case study has been developed for the student to incorporate these
skills into performing day-to-day activities of procurement, inventory
management and sales order processing.
ASSET MANAGEMENT-CUSTOMER SERVICE WORKBENCH
(5 DAYS TRAINING)
This hands-on course will provide students with the skills necessary
to develop an integrated customer service solution. Upon completion
of the course, students will be able to confidently set up and manage
customer service data.
TRANSPORTATION MANAGEMENT (3 DAYS)
This hands-on course will provide the student with the skills to
optimize transportation operations with the supply chain. Upon completion
of the course, students will be able to confidently setup and control
transportation costs and perform real-time shipment tracking resulting
in enhanced customer satisfaction and carrier partnerships.

ONEWORLD
SYSTEM FOUNDATION (2 DAYS)
This lecture-oriented course will provide students with the details
to understand the Configurable Network Computing concepts. Upon
completion of the course, the student will have a thorough knowledge
of the Configurable Network Computing components and how they work
together in the One World system.
ONEWORLD SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION (5 DAYS)
This hands-on course will provide the student with the skills to
administer a Configurable Network Computing enterprise. Upon completion
of this course, students will be able to execute the tasks required
to successfully maintain a One World enterprise.
ONEWORLD INSTALLATION/UPGRADE OVERVIEW (3 DAYS)
This lecture-oriented course will provide the student with the ability
to plan a successful OneWorld installation or upgrade. Upon completion
of this course, the student will have an overview of the processes
and steps involved in installing OneWorld and upgrading to a new
release.
ONEWORLD PACKAGE DEPLOYMENT (4 DAYS)
This hands-on course will provide students with details on the methodology
for managing the deployment of modified OneWorld objects. Upon completion
of this course, the student will have the skills to set up and maintain
processes to develop and deploy custom modifications with OneWorld
tools.
CHANGE MANAGEMENT WITH OMW (4 DAYS)
This is a custom developed course designed to give both upper IT
management as well as project team a thorough understanding of Change
Management as it relates to the enterprise as well as in depth "hands-on"
experience with OMW / OMC and Change Management within J.D. Edwards.
DISASTER
PLANNING / RECOVERY / SECURITY (2-5 DAYS)
This hands-on course will provide the student with the knowledge
on what steps
and actions should be performed for "Best Business Practices"
in order to insure system integrity and minimized downtime in case
of a disaster. In addition it can include a planning session and
design of a disaster recovery plan, and architecture review, and
implementation. We also offer an in depth course on managing OW
security and work with client's to lay out a security plan that
fits their needs.

FUNDAMENTALS (2 DAYS)
This hands-on course will provide the student with skills to create
menus, vocabulary overrides, user overrides and an understanding
of application objects and security.
TOOLS FOUNDATION (1 DAY)
This hands-on course will provide the student with an understanding
of the OneWorld development cycle. Upon completion of this course,
students will have a detailed understanding of OneWorld objects
and an introduction to the OneWorld tool.
ADVANCED TOOLS (5 DAYS)
This hands-on course will provide students with an in-depth knowledge
on programming with Event Rules. Upon completion of this course,
you will have the skills necessary to code and debug complex business
logic using Event Rule interface.
DESIGNING FORMS 1 (4 DAYS)
This hands-on course will provide students with the critical components
necessary for designing forms with the OneWorld Tool. Upon completion
of this course, the student will have the knowledge to successfully
build and run a simple application using event rules and processing
options.
ENTERPRISE REPORT WRITING 1 (3 DAYS)
This hands-on course will provide students with the skills necessary
to design and modify reports for the enterprise using the Report
Design tool. Upon completion of this course, the student will have
the skills essential to create both simple and relatively complex
reports.
ENTERPRISE REPORT WRITING 2 (3 DAYS)
This hands-on course will provide the student with the ability to
master Report Design Aid functionality. Upon completion of this
course, students will have the ability to design and implement complex
business reports.
FINANCIAL REPORT WRITER (2 DAYS)
This hands-on course will provide the student with the knowledge
to design and tailor financial reports to meet your organization's
specific reporting requirements. Upon completion of the course,
the student will be able to confidently create and modify financial
reports using the Report Design Aid tool and utilize the Drill Down
function, which provides a unique link to the detail from which
the report was generated.
