Q4bis DataServer transfers data from source systems
using Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) procedures.

Multiple Data Sources
Using
either ODBC or OLE DB, Q4bis DataServer can connect
to any database supporting this technology. Wherever
your data is stored and whatever the platform, DataServer
can easily convert any file format to MS SQL Server
for further manipulation or Data Warehouse building.
Extract Wizard
The
easy to use 'wizard' based tool provides an interface
to any database allowing data extraction from the source
database and replication in an MS SQL Server format.
These jobs can then be run overnight or on a daily basis
using the wizards scheduling functionality.
Transformation Wizard

data often requires cleansing and manipulation when
constructing a new database from existing database sources.

Template Solutions

Data Extract Wizard currently holds templates for many
of the major ERP and CRM vendors including J.D. Edwards™,
BPCS, Sales Logics, and Great Plains. These templates
facilitate the extract process by providing a predefined
file format for data importing.
Meta Data Wizard
New
functionality now enables the downloading of Meta Data
(data describing data) from a source database and converting
it via XML into a MS SQL Server format.

Transform section of DataServer facilitates the creation
