In response to growing demand for mobile/wireless connectivity to J.D. Edwards beyond the logistics and manufacturing areas, ICS launched WAIV in 2001.

Initially offering mobile fixed asset auditing functionality, WAIV has grown to also offer suites for IT asset inventory and remote sales entry...with additional functionality on the way.

Built using the same proven technologies as
RF-SMART, WAIV enables organizations to efficiently and accurately perform JDE transactions remotely using a mobile handheld computer.

No Base Suites Required

Although WAIV can work with RF-SMART, it does not require the purchase of an unrelated or expensive "base suite." Therefore, WAIV offers OneWorld® and WorldSoftwareTM users interested only in remote sales entry and/or asset auditing a solution that is more cost-effective and that will provide a faster return on investment.

For implementations that do not require significant tailoring, WAIV takes an average of five days to implement. Our implementation includes performing the following services:

WAIV seamlessly integrates to both OneWorld® and WorldSoftwareTM Fixed Asset Modules. The only difference is that the OneWorld® version operates on the Windows CE platform, and WAIV for WorldSoftwareTM is Palm OS-based.
